This short course will focus on some basics but important concepts regarding atmospheric chemistry, including (1) the basic chemistry in the stratosphere, and its relation to the ozone depletion, (2) the basic chemistry in the troposphere and its relation to the tropospheric ozone pollution, (3) the basic of tropospheric aerosols, and (4) how to link these basic concepts to the environment problems in China. During the each different topic, a quiz will be given to enhance the understanding for each of the topic. During the last day of the course, a short exam will be given.
