Courses
Foundation of Tectonophysics
An introduction to kinematics, dynamics and deformation of the lithosphere. Topics include mainly the rock deformation of brittle and ductile field, and their application to the folding, faulting and the stress analysis in the lithosphere.
Advanced Soil Mechanics
This class presents the application of principles of soil mechanics. It mainly considers the following topics: stress-strain-strength behavior of soils and their applications; the effective stress principle; hydraulic conductivity and seepage; bearing capacity and slope stability; consolidation theory and settlement analysis.
