Courses
Satellite Orbit and Its observation
Theories about satellite orbit and its observation methods are discussed. Main topics include two-body problem, general disturbance theories of orbit, various disturbance elements of orbit, main observation methods about satellite, and location of satellite from observation.
Mathematical and Physical Equations in Earth Sciences and Their Computational Methods
This course is a fundamental one for students in Earth sciences. Main topics involve wave equation, heat equation, harmonic equation, spherical harmonic function, and difference methods to these equations.
Seminar in Satellite Gravity
A graduate seminar that discusses main methods of recovering the gravity field from satellite observations. Main topics include how to establish normal system of equations from observations, especially, to discuss methods dealing with CHAMP, GRACE, and GOCE data.
